Accessible Van Assistance Program

Supporting our Jewish Community

M&M Chesed Mobility is a program of MagicMobility Vans that provides vans for underprivileged special needs children, the elderly, and those with debilitating illnesses.

This is indeed a “life-changer”, enabling a hassle-free way to get to doctor and therapy appointments, attend Simchas and minyonim, and family events, helping to attend Shul or even just getting out…for many who live every day with loneliness.

Our Mission

Together we can change lives by providing mobility to those in need in our Jewish Community.

The M&M Mobility program is focused on purchasing used adapted vans from mobility dealerships since donated used wheelchair vans tend to be older, high mileage with unpredictable reliability. These purchased vans are distributed to needy Jewish families, for their children, the elderly, and adults with disabilities.

In addition to helping families with special children in need, we are looking to help those with Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, Post-Polio Syndrome, and Dementia. The National Institute on Aging reports that “People in the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease may still enjoy going out to places they enjoyed in the past.  For example, the person might enjoy going to a favorite restaurant, park, or shopping mall. Keep going on these outings as long as you are comfortable with them… and Social isolation was associated with about a 50% percent increased risk of dementia.” For our Jewish population, this includes attending Simchas and Tefillah. We also run a Van Gemach, lending wheelchair vans for doctor and hospital appointments, events, and Shabbosim.
